HSBC Private Banking
Ident - Promotional Video
This project was in collaboration with HSBC Private Bank, to conceptualise an Ident and Promotional Video to bring in millennial audiences to their services.

HSBC Private Bank Ident
The first part of this project was to create a 6 second ident for the HSBC Private Bank, to attract younger audiences. The ident needed to represent what HSBC Private Bank stands for in a modern way, while incorporating all of the branding and style of the company.


Here is some of my planning for the ident, such as a moodboard of artistic ideas and a mindmap showing how I wanted to interpret HSBC Private Bank's ethos and branding for my ident.
Here is my final storyboard for the ident. I created some still renders in Cinema 4D, and then added in the light beam and other effects using Procreate and Photoshop. I then created a very basic animatic to further show the ident concept.



HSBC Private Bank Promotional Video
The next part of this project was to create a 60-second promotional mood piece video, again aimed at bringing in younger members of the population. Again I needed to ensure I was incorporating the company ethos and branding throughout.

Placements
The final stage of this project was to think about the placements of my promotional video. As this campaign was created directly focused on targeting an audience of young adults, I thought that social media placement - such as YouTube advertisements would be appropriate. The video would have to be adapted to suit this purpose (as traditionally YouTube advertisements are shorter).
